Roses are simplistic, in fashion and pieces of art . Each rose color has its own meaning and presents a different message. There are many different rose colors available to fit any mood or occasion. A rose is a great one to display your very personal feelings.
White is the traditional symbol of marriage, innocence, truth and virtue. White also signifies peace and tranquility. White roses are traditionally the preferred flowers for weddings. They are especially valued for their simple beauty and pure color. White roses carry so many meanings they can be confusing to the reciever, but they are usually given as an expression of deep emotions.
White roses signify deep, clear emotions. They are given without reservation or ambivalence. The red rose signifies lust or passion, but the white rose goes much deeper to suggest an infinite love that goes to the very core of one’s being. It carries an almost spiritual significance. White roses symbolize devotion, kindness, and deep friendship in love.
At Queen Victoria’s wedding in 1840, bouquets of white roses played a significant part. Since then the tradition has lived on. At modern weddings, most brides carry a bouquet of white roses during the ceremony. Brides also carry these roses as a sign of their innocence and purity to their beloved.
They are also a way to show that a woman is chaste and pure. A white rose bud carries a slightly different meaning. It announces that is girl is not mature enough for romantic intentions. Girls who have not yet reached adolescence are compared to the white rose bud because they are thought to be maiden-like and wholesome. A white rose bud also stands for elegance, beauty and childlike love.
There are roses, like the white, blue, and yellow rose that can symbolize secrecy. It is helpful for one to know what each rose color means before buying a person roses. For example, a white rose would symbolize that a woman is as pretty and as charming as a white rose.
These roses symbolize many virtuous qualities and traits we all highly treasure and wish we possess ourselves: loyalty, unity, honor, honesty, holiness, and truth. Roses are also the color of spirituality, making them peerless wedding adornments and flower of choice. Weddings represent love, loyalty, unity, new beginnings and spirituality, all great, awesome, qualities shared by our roses.
