Looking after your Golf Clubs Like A Baby

by Roberts

Your golf clubs are the most expensive accessory of your golf kit. Even though golfers pay a packet for them, most of them do not take care of them well, or they don’t know how they can go about doing it.

You have spent a lot of money and time in buying your golf clubs. You just need to invest a wee bit of effort to help to maintain it properly. It should be stored well and also used in a proper manner.

Let us look at the golf bag, first of all. Check out the sides of the bag before you buy. They should have some metal covering, like steel. Only metal can protect your clubs if they fall out of the cart or if they hit something else.

Prevent your golf clubs from getting stolen. You can buy a golf bag which has a flap or a door on top. There can be a lock mechanism on the flap. It could be a number protected lock or just a simple lock and key.

It is a good idea to paint, embroider or emboss your name on the side of your golf bag. Some golfers even like to imprint their contact details along with their names.

In this way there is a very good chance of getting your bag back, if it is lost. It is also a good idea to get the handles of your clubs embossed with your names and contact details, but get a professional to do it.

It may just satisfy you to know that if your bag gets stolen, you stand a very good chance of getting it back again, but it does not rule out theft at all.

When playing golf turns into a profitable hobby

Since golf becomes an addiction like alcohol, the poor ‘golf widows’ are the people whom others always felt sorry about.

‘Golf poor’ is now accepted as a universal truth. If you are a golf addict you automatically turn up spending a huge amount of money to buy the accessories for the game.

If you have been playing golf for a number of years and have been able to manage your expenses for the game well, then you should be advising the newcomers on how they can save when buying golf accessories. You can also teach them how to earn back money from the game and be proud of your rich dividends.

First of all, everybody loves getting free advice from an experienced golfer. People will love you for it, but you will not get anything in return.

Instead of giving free tips, you can ask the golfers to give you something in return, like the use of their expensive accessories. In this way, it would benefit both sides.

The golfers who receive advice and tips from a golf guru should have no problems in agreeing with this offer. In the bargain, you have the privilege of using the expensive golf accessories which you don’t possess. It may also be possible to charge them a small fee if you give some informal tuitions.

If you have already invested in expensive golf accessories, you may be able to earn a little money by renting them out to other golf instructors. They can use the accessories to train rookies. This could be one of the many ways to get some returns from your investment.

With this money you can then buy your expensive golf accessories, and at the same time it can be like a bit of pocket money for you.
