The Samsung HDTV Review And Commentary

by Chris Channing

When we think of watching “the game” or the latest reality TV show on cable or satellite, it often becomes apparent that high definition TV, or HDTV, could make the experience so much better. After all, being able to see every single pixel worth of definitive programming is quite amazing- and the characteristic of some of the best televisions around.

The biggest reason a consumer would want to go ahead and upgrade to the Samsung HDTV line of televisions is because of the superior picture quality that they exhibit. The Samsun high definition television will, on average, be around ten times better than the average television in terms of resolution and picture quality. In such cases, just watching a movie or playing a video game can be a completely different experience.

Another good implementation by the good folks at Samsung is the fact that their high definition television sets have what is called progressive scan functionality. This feature allows for a bright and vibrant picture, as it essentially draws lines of pixels at quicker response times. This not only eliminates flicker that most are accustomed to with regular televisions, but also gives a precise picture that has perfect picture quality.

To get more out of the experience that the Samsung HDTV offers, consumers need better audio quality as well. Thankfully, the engineers at Samsung have given the high definition TV a superior audio quality by offering up to six speakers with each television set, so as to give consumers the best “surround sound” quality that places such as movie theaters use. In many cases, one can simply stay at home and enjoy the same quality of a cinema without spending the inflated ticket prices.

While a Samsung high definition television uses digital sound to give consumers the “wow” effect, old televisions will commonly use analog sound. This analog sound is so primitive in design that the difference between the two is much like contrasting a radio with a CD in sound quality. And as previously mentioned, the surround sound that Samsung televisions give off is much more to be marveled at than the basic speakers regular televisions have.

Buying a high definition TV from Samsung is great for those who want to keep their investment running strong in the future. Soon the analog signal that many communication networks use will cease to exist, and digital will take over as the better alternative. In this case, high definition TVs from Samsung will still be able to be used without problems, as they are already using digital signals. Other televisions, however, may need upgrades that can be expensive in design.

A high definition television is more than just a TV- it’s an experience with every movie and game that is played on it. The surround sound, realistic picture, and impressive progressive scanning feature all work together to give the consumer a very real environment with every movie or video game. And as high definition television sets will be able to be used with digital signal broadcasting, they withstand the tests of time and prove to be a great return on investment.

One of the largest manufacturers that makes HDTV’s is Samsung, and while most people seem to like a Samsung 34 CRT HDTV, they actually don’t make one at 34 inches, but they do make lots of others that are around the same size.
