They’ll usually recommend that you slowly increase the dose until you reach the maximum amount allowed per day. The maximum amount allowed may vary, but it’s typically around 4,500mg per day.

One thing you might notice is that while hoodia gordonii suppresses your appetite, it may also decrease your thirst as well. It is important to remember to drink lots of water when you are taking these supplements. The product label will usually instruct you to drink between 8 to 10 ounces of water when you take your pills. Drinking water while dieting is always a good strategy to begin with anyway!
