Good Cures for Bad Breath

by Bret Breath

Need a good cure for bad breath? There are plenty of good cures available. The key is to find out what the cause of your bad breath is. Then you will know the right cure. Let’s take a look.

Usually bad breath is caused by the many bacteria living inside your mouth. Having bacteria is normal. Having too many can cause bad breath. They like the little bits of food that you may have in your mouth. That’s why you must eliminate those bits by brushing and flossing frequently. Brush that tongue too.

A dry mouth can cause bad breath. Moisture will clean your mouth. If your mouth is dry, bacteria multiply faster. The bad breath cure for a dry mouth is to consume plenty of water and juices.

Sometimes foods can create bad breath. You are familiar with the culprits, such as garlic and onions. You need a powerful counter action from mints, chewing gum or a few of the foods that hide those odors.

Smoking or chewing tobacco gives you a breath odor that is bad at best. Many people try gum or mints to mask that smell. Those are not cures. They do not work. The only remedy is to stop smoking or chewing.

Bad breath can be caused by bad gums. You don’t want to get in that situation. Don’t brush just your teeth. Brush your gums as well. Give them a good massage with the bristles of your toothbrush.

The nose can be a pretty nasty source of bad breath. Sinus infections usually are the cause of such odor. The bad breath cure is not simple. You must listen to the medical advice of a doctor. Then you will get the right treatment.

If you have dentures you must live with a common cause of bad breath. Dentures can emit an evil odor if not cleaned properly. Bacteria love any food particles in the dentures. The cure is easy. Use frequent cleaning with a good denture cleaner. It’s easy.

In summary, your cure for bad breath is pretty simple. Determine the cause of your bad breath and choose the right treatment for that specific cause. There’s really nothing to it.
